Slipway

The slipway is currently very slipery at low tide which makes getting heavier boats up pretty tricky, its ok at weekends when members kindly help each other but even then you can easily loose your footing. Is there another maintence session planned? A winch would be another way to solve the problem, would it be possible to install one (electric or hand cranked)?

Yes we have cleaned the slipway last Monday - we have to do it when the tides are right.
There is an electric winch currently being installed - lots of health and safety issues to deal with though.
