Safeguarding
Safeguarding at Netley Sailing Club
At Netley Sailing Club, we want every member to enjoy club life to the fullest. A strong safeguarding culture is about looking out for one another and ensuring everyone, including children, young people and adults at risk, can feel safe, respected and included.
Safeguarding is a shared responsibility. If something does not feel right, please speak up. Concerns are handled sensitively and appropriately.
Please take a few minutes to read our Safeguarding Master Handbook. It is short, important, and helps us all play our part in maintaining a safe, respectful and welcoming club culture for everyone on and off the water.
Please do feel free to approach me if you see me at the club, or get in touch with me or Colette at any time. We would both be very happy to answer questions, talk things through, or share more information. If you happen to speak first to another member of the committee, they will of course help point you in the right direction.
